Yeah, I Was Wonderig The Same Thing, About My H23a 5 Speed. I'm Hoping To Get Over 25 Anyway.

On Another Note, I Am Rebuilding The Front And Rear Suspension, In As Far As Energy Suspensions Black Graphite Poly Urethane Bushings, I Got The Whole Kit, Motor Mount Inserts Too! I Haven't Bought New Tires Yet, But They Are Badly Worn, I Talked To The Alignment Shop About What This Could Mean. They Are Suggesting Adjustable Ball Joints. Any Suggestions From Ya'll Would Be Welcome. I Probably Need To Do The Rear As Well.

WOAH WOAH WOAH....25? im like getting 12-14 mpg on my 5th gen lude! anyone know why? I havent had the car for long. I can't really explain why im getting about 12-14. So far people have told me to change my oil, spark plugs, check and correct tire pressures and drive correctly (i'm not flooring it, not breaking hard, and shifting at about 3000 rpm ). I have done all this and am still getting reallllly bad mileage. Can anyone explain?/Help me in explaning why i am getting such bad mpg??

dirty fuel filter, dirty air filter, clogged injectors, bad o2 sensor, dragging brake, poor alignment, low compression...i think that about covers it?

you may want to change your tranny fluid as well, get a valve adjustment, replace your air/fuel filter, use a k&n for the air filter, and run some injector cleaner through the car. while you're running injector cleaner, RAIL ON IT every day, to clean things out.

Oh yea i forgot to post saying i replaced my air filter . I was thinking it was a bod o2 sensor but i dont know how to check/where it is to check it. (kinda new to cars) (scratch that nooob at cars) i also had all my fluids replaced. As for using a injector cleaner how much will that run me because I'm flat broke due to this horrible gas mileage! could my breaks be contributing to my bad mpg? because i thinking i might need to break pads seeing as my car SQQQQEEEKKKS a little when i break.
