I would look at the Apex'i World Sport 2, it's very nice sounding. It's one of the most quiet exhausts out there, only gets mildly loud at WOT. You can get a system for about 400 shipped off ebay.

If your area is prone to rust, I would highly recommend a Greddy exhaust over the Apex'i exhaust.

Why? Full stainless steel construction compared to mild steel. It will still rust, but not nearly as quickly.

The Evo and WS don't even compare. The WS is mild steel, will rust faster and features and chambered muffler design. The Evo is stainless steel, will hold up to rust better, and features a straight through muffler design. You will see better gains out of the Evo2, but it will be louder and more expensive.

It is just prenounced "ready" with a g in front of it.

lude-smakt, where do you live? How strict are your smog laws? that's another important aspect when choosing a named brand vs ebay intakes (as mentioned above). I know Aem / injen are smog legal.

If budget is concerned, an easy way around it is have someone make you an aem or injen sticker and a carb sticker. My buddy works at a vynle shop and hes makes my buddies who have turboed cars stickers to put on under the hood. any intake will look at like any other so cops won't know.

here's my friend's ghetto intake job on his lude. We droped a filter at the end.

well i live in oregon. im not sure what the laws are here but i dont think they are really strict. the filter i got is K&N and is emissions legal in all 50 states. so in that pic, is that just a vinal sleve thats wrapped around his aluminum intake?
