Default Timing Belt

On my prelude the front is making a weird noise...not like right when you turn it on but after i drove it for a little while it was making that noise when i pulled up into my grandmas driveway....it has 175,000 miles on it and it has never had a timing belt change yet :P...do you think thats what it is?

If you had timing belt issues, my experience says you would not have any warnings before the thing would break. I have a hard time believing you are on the original timing belt, since the change over point is 90K.

My 98 had the belt changed at 85K, and my 88's belt broke at 89K. If your belt is original that would be one amazing feat.

prelude98addict, not to nitpick but where are you going to get a 6 speed for a H22a4? Also, Why?

You would think if you "love" greddy parts so much you would know how to spell it right?

Hey man, you might wanna fix "Grounf controls" in your list too. So......tell us more about this 6 speed tranny, and how you're gonna make it work.

Before you say that you "OWNED" anyone you never gave us any facts about your problem or this 6 speed tranny. To say that your car is making a weird noise and then want us to tell you what a possible problem is just plan dumb. Great description!
