Default Headlights and taillights

Just wanting to see if anyone has done this or can give any tips/advice on it.
I've been looking for ludes for a while and noticed i like the front on the 4th gen much better than a 5th gen, and the back on the 5th gen much better than a 4th gen. Has anybody taken a 5th gen and put a 4th gen front on it, or taken a 4th gen and put a 5th gen back on it? Which one might be easier and least expensive and is it even possible?

Putting the 4th gen front on the 5th gen would definatly be the easier of the two. I've seen pics of it done, it looks OK, but not as good as one would think though. Search the web for pics.

That is the general consensus, I believe. Most 4th and 5th gen owners have a little generation-envy for the others' taillights or headlights.

However, there is an easier way to get a 4th gen to look really cool from the back: Skyline R33 taillights!

:hitit:

Not exactly plug-and-play, you'd have to do some cutting on the trunk lid to make it fit, and then cut the stock lenses and paint them as a pseudo-panel to fill the space around the new taillights. But it's probably easier than swapping front ends.
The taillights themselves go for around $150 on eBay.

I agree, that looks very hot. Dan's got good tastes in cars.
