yo dennis, yea im using the crank and rods. the pistons i still have and an enormous amount of 2.3 parts. you want my jdm 2.2 pistons? everything is goin good. the block just needs to be hone finished. i pick up the bearings and rod bolts tomorrow and i'll drop them and everything else to be balanced on tuesday after class. this build is turning out to cost me much more than i had anticipated, but i dont mind, as long as i get my monies worth ya know.

so whats goin on with your ride? swap to 5spd? heh. see if you can buy the pedals and peripherals off of preludenyc so you can swap. i'll help you.

anywho...take it easy dog.

armadillo do you have a dyno sheet i could look at, and a full modification list?? looking for a reference to see how i'd do. the 181whp dyno of that 2.3vtec has the torque dropping off fast after 6k.

ok i got my new honda rod bolts tonite, tomorrow i'll drop off everything to be balanced. and per vast amounts of advice and warnings i will only send the rods/bolts to be cryo tempered. is there NO aftermarket support for h-series rod bolts??

the reasons i've been waiting was for the bearings. it turns out honda has discontinued the old bearings and has a new style bearing for our motors, which is on back order from japan...hence, the long ass wait. they are supposedly made of a stronger metal and are to perform better and last longer. i guess honda finally noticed how many h-series owners were spinning bearings. hopefully this is the deal and i'll be getting the better bearings. either that or i just got swindled

anywho. i see more and more g4's around the way and its just tearing me up inside. i want this to be over NOW!!!
