Before, I thought you meant you had a 4th gen S model w/ F22a, but now I understand you have base 5th gen. Sorry I misunderstood. A base model is not a type s as you are saying though. Type S Preludes are found in Japan. It has an H22, as does every 5th gen, but it has a differences such as 11.0. compression ratio, different intake, slightly different exhaust manifold, and I belive they recieved a port & polish at the factory. The throttle body was bored out a little bit too. The engine puts out 220 hp instead of 200. There are more differences, but you're right, I am putting to much time into it.

get an ACT kit, thats what i got, changed it once already and the disc i changed (first ACT i bought 60k miles ago had PLENTY of meat left on it) and trust me i beat the piss out of my car. Only reason i changed it was because i pulled my motor to change my tranny, decided to change my t-belt while it was out (since it takes 20 mins with the engine on a skid) and also changed the clutch (might as well since i was changing the tranny).
Anyway yea like i said after 60k miles of PURE BEATING, the ACT disc had at least 50% friction material left on it, i was very impressed and thats why i bought from them again.
Just make sure you change or at least resurface your flywheel, otherwise ur gonna feel clutch chatter when shifting hard or when it heats up like in traffic.

Your best bet would be to get the one with the 278 torque capacity. The others would be too much for the street IMO. Resurfacing the flywheel would be cheapest, but if you have the dough, you could get a lightweight flywheel from Fidanza or something. But whatever you decide to do about the flywheel, definitly do it at the same time as the clutch. (Kill two birds with one stone) Good luck with whatever you do.
