Do you mean for rev matching while braking? Because it's obviously not for inducing a drift when you're talking about a prelude.

Yea that's what I'm talking about. The downshifting while breaking deal. I don't know how drifting came up... I was just wondering if anybody who owns a prelude can do it very well. I've been practicing latley and it's really fun. I'm just not sure if the pedals are set up for it, is all.

Well the only reason to do the heel-toe technique IS for drifting, so I don't know why the hell you're trying it in your Lude.

Just another way we learn I guess... reading that is. I think this thread has the potential to clear up some things, which is why I said
I can't wait to read this one
so here we are.
What will be the verdict?
Who knows?

Hmm about heel toe and drifting, your probably thinking of something else (possibly more fun). Maybe something like leftfoot braking? Ish whatever.

Yea so heel toe it really fun, I suggest it to everybody. There are great tutorials all over google if you wanna check it out.

Heel-toe downshifting is a technique commonly used in road racing that allows you to smoothly downshift while braking in preperation for a turn. It can be done in any car, though its difficulty varies depending on pedal positions. I recently installed Sparco Grip pedals into my Integra, which make the technique a lot easier.
