bad gas mileage!!!!

wow, on my 95 prelude SI with 13.5 up my tank's full, after that and driving like a crazy i still getting 300 miles, i guess is because my lude is MT? or i don't like to use my A/C a lot?? humm

No it's cause your motor generates nowhere near the power of the H22

The Fuel Filter is behind the engine on the right hand side I do believe, here's a pic pointing to where it is.

thanks i think im gonna go replace my fuel filter...i replaced my cap and rotor like 1000 miles ago so it cant be that....god i hope its the fuel filter

Yes, his motor may make less hp and tq (about 35 hp less) but his motor is still a 2.3 litre, and has the same size fuel tank. His car is also supposed to average the same as a 97-01 in mileage. m/t and not using AC is definitely a factor though.

I'm sorry to say that dude but i've only lost once to a 5th gen H22, see, H23's aren't that slow, specially if you know how to drive a car like you should (not highly modified cars). Those 30HP difference are nothing depending your driving skills, i do respect people with more powerful cars dude, and i know that H22's are the best of the H series, but saying that H23's don't come "near" just say that you have no idea about preludes, (ups! i just saw your civic avatar ) LOL

Damn,

I get exactly the same mileage out of my JDM H22 as I did with my H23. 350-380 miles per tank.

lol...had a lude...sold it, couldnt afford the insurance, the car in my avatar is also no longer mine, I have a 1997 Accord Coupe 5 spd....trying to find another lude right now though
