Default $9,000, 5th gen lude or Integra GSr?

I am selling my 99 trans am and will have around 9 grand to buy another car. I was thinking a 5th gen lude or integra gsr. I dont plan on making modifications except maybe a k and n air filter. Which is the better car? Any other suggestions?

If you get a lude, don't get the SH or the version with ATTS. Also, stick to the 5 speed and shy yourself away from the 4spd SportShift.

IMO, I'd get a GS-R.

They are both very good cars but I find that I see less 5th Gen Preludes in my area and more Integeras. This is one of the reasons why I purchased a Prelude. I would test drive both cars and see which one you feel more comfortable with.

You and I share the same opinion on why we like our choice, I don't see a lot of Preludes out here, but I see even less Integras. It's a sight to see a 97-01 Prelude around here, the previous generation is more common. I was at a pizza place the other day sitting in my Accord and a lady drives up in an Integra, unknown the trim level, she didn't park beside me, but I was like "Nice car." she looked around as if I was speaking to someone else and she finally looked at me and I was like "Yeah, your Integra, it's nice." and she was kinda like "Oh? Heh. Thanks."

I chose a GSR over a Prelude for a few reasons. I liked the way the GSR handled better. I also liked the fact that the GSR was a hatchback. Thirdly I liked the GSR styling better.

I would take the Lude over the GS-R ... H22 = more powerful... you can feel the torque difference in the two cars... I also think Lude looks better, it IS faster just barely... another reason i'd take a lude over Teg GS-R is that here in Seattle area they get stolen ALL the time...

the 5th gen should be a little faster in stock form.

with no mods and for regular driving i'll take the prelude. and the SH is a fine car when stock, in fact it's a lot more fun to drive than a stock base. unless you plan on lots of engine mods or don't plan on putting in a LSD the sh will be lots of fun.

Get a prelude...Be sure its a 5spd, cause if you get an automatic, you're most likely have transmission problems....

I honestly thing the 97-01 lude's styling is way better than 3rd gen tegs.. Circlular headlights are a huge turnoff, and for some reason there looks like a big space between the hood and where it sits on them, i dunno maybe just me:P
