1997 Cat Converter
I've got one brand new high flow test pipe with O2 bung in it for the 97-01 honda prelude. It's not a cheap one from ebay that cost $24.99. The construciton is awesome, sound and power is unbelievable and it will not throw a cel. I've had the exact same one on my SH for over a year and never once had a cel or atts light. I bought it for a local about 2 months ago and never seen him again. I've got over 75 bucks in it. Truthfully a high flow cat is a big waste of money and they sound like crap after they break up. This test pipe doesn't rattle or sound raspy. It wont rust. Mine still looks new after a year of Ohio wheather! I'll try to post the pic of it up on here but if I can't figure it out give me your email and I'll send you the pic.
Wait wait...if you have a 1997 prelude with emissions problems, let Honda fix it for free. It falls under the extended emissions warranty as long as it has less than 150k miles on it. They will do a free tune-up and replace your cat and all for free.....
anybody happen to have a busted up cat for a 1997 prelude? they will not do the emission's upgrade unless they have an old cat to send back.
and the guy i bought it from has that same "high flow" piece of crap pictured above, it DOES throw the cel.

Listen here buddy, It's far from a piece of crap and it's way better than a raspy sounding random tech or carsound cat that you will pay big money for. This thing makes no rattles whatsoever and sounds deep and powerful. I to this day have never thrown a cel. Run a switch to the memory wire in the ecu , flip it to the off position and WOW what do ya know you've done the obd2 workaround. It totally will not throw a cel.
lol, u left that part out didnt u... either way, of course it doesnt rattle, its a solid piece of metal with nothing in it. and unless u want to do all that nonsense that in the end is not good for your car, go ahead and do it! YEAH!
Yeah it would be pretty smart of me to run a catalytic converter of any kind with nitrous huh! Also don't single me out dude, you know how many people have high flow test pipes that have never had a problem. You want to have an attitude don't address me address all the luders! I was just posting it to help you out if this was what you're looking for. We've got no emissions in ohio that's why I run this, and successfully at that!
