Default Cat Converter Question...help..

My friend has 95 Civic Hatchback with a 98 b18c1. His exhaust is a Team 5zigen Fireball full cat and he was wondering will a GS-R cat converter fit his car since he is running a dummy (fake cat) cat? Or does he need to get a civic cat converter. Oh yeah he has DC sports headers 4-2-1 one piece. Any help....what Cat converter should my friend get and will it fit. Thank you for your help.

I just did the same swap in a '95 sedan. I put a DC 4-1 LS header on and it didn't meet up with the cat. What header did he get (for what car)?

~psst.. it's header, hondas only have 4 cylinders, thus, one header ~

So, is the cat too short, or too long?

Like I said, I ran an LS header and my cat is too short.

I suggest running a GSR cat if you're using a GSR header, but I can't guarantee anything.

Any muffler shop can fix it up for you.

Good luck.
