OK this is a question about my exhaust for ludeboom or anyone else who has some technical know-how. I have stated b4 that I plan on swapping an H22a1 or H22 some time this summer(to replace my H23.) In the mean time is there any problem put on a new cat-back exhaust system that will bolt directly to either of the aforementioned swaps and my current H23? I don't think this would be a problem, but I thought I should ask before I start looking. Thanks

The exhaust will work with either engine. it bolts to the cat-converter and you don't get a new one of those with the swap.

yea the h23a1 and h22a1 exhaust are pretty much identical (exclusion muffler) from the CAT back.
the header and downpipe are different between the VTEC and non.

the head itself is different so you cant rig a h23a1 manifold/header to fit an h22a, you may be able to use the h23a1 downpipe, but i would not recommend it.

you should also get a straight pipe+exhaust+header, when u get the h22a
you should be able to pop some flame outta the muffler that way.
