WHICH ONE IS BETTER - AEM COLD AIR OR INJEN COLD AIR FOR THE 5TH GENERATION

i have the AEM CAI on mine
the torque drops off a little but then the hp gains in the top end is wayyyy more than worth it

there's not a huge diffrence. dyno proven that the aem makes bit more hp/tq. But not much. like maybe 1/2 hp if that.

I think the AEM is the only CARB certified or pending cert CAI avaliable. Least it was when I was looking about 8-10months ago.

I also have the AEM, it's great. I love it.

refer to this page, tests done on a 99 Civic Si B16A...

Injen 2pc CAI had the best top end gains (ludes dont rev that high but have bigger displacement)

i love my injen 2pc... im currently keeping it SR mode because cai is pointless on my otherwise stock setup

i'd go with the AEM v2 if you can afford it. it's out and apparently it's worth it.

other wise i'd go with AEM ... that's just a personal preference. they just have my trust.

the V2 made less gains then the V1.... it diid however make more gains when tested with the hood open, unlike the TPR test that tested withh the hood closed... the V2 = :ghey:

My AEM is treating me right, i love it,sounds good at high RPMs, but it really doesnt matter
