if i was buying a CAI all over again, i'd get an EBAY CAI, because they're all the same.

tough CARB certified is cool...

look for a used one, they pop up all the time.

I would stick with ebay CAI + K&N filter.

The only reason I would go with an AEM is for the CARB sticker.

Honestly i had a "Ebay" intake for 5 months and i didn't experienced any changes on my prelude performance, by the way the filter was a piece of crap and i got from "procarparts", then i decided to get a AEM and now i really feel the changes especially when i'm in 1st or 2nd gear. feels like auto tranny somethimes and i need to keep braking the car to drive in parking lots and stuff and is hillarious because sometimes my car gets a little nervous i mean more powerful, i just loved the real intake one, i still keep the other one, i guess was the horrible filter or who knows i couldn't believe and i paid almos $50 for the ebay one.

^yes.

think about it. IT'S JUST A TUBE OF 3" METAL THAT GOES FROM THE THROTTLE BODY TO THE PASS. FRONT FENDERWELL. there isn't much technology in that, kids. though the carb sticker is nice.

there are things to spend money on liberally (suspensions, tires, paint jobs) and things to not get ripped off on (intakes, strut tower bars, lower tie braces)...

Well, i get what you pay for.
I Work on a sign shop and it wasnt about sticker trust me and by the way i removed the ugly piece of metallic sticker that comes with the aem intake and i just put the silver one which is way better. About the performance YES MUCH better.
I use to put my hand on the intake and check if the -ebay intake- was hot and always was hot now this new one doesnt really get hot but still can~t believe the diference when i turn on my engine,
I was going to buy those generic headers but i preffer to save some money and get the DC ones i guess cheap stuff sometimes works sometimes dont.
im sure i learned

btw, the DC header is worthless. that itty bitty collector will give you about 1/2 hp gain, for 300 bucks. yay! if you really want some gains, spend some money on a mugen, SMS, hytech, or prospeed.

about the ebay intake: if you're worried about heat soak, just wrap the thing in heat tape.
