Ok I will give you that but by comparison why don't you show me exactly Obama accomplished in this meeting aside from making press statements.

To be honest aside from listening to the experts and taking in knowledge to make an informed decision what can either of these idiots really do aside from vote on a final draft of the proposal? They have nearly no power the same as a president does not have hardly any real power except as a figurehead and a veto stamp.

Well I guess you got me there because so far after looking at Obamas record both in voting in senate and on the campaign he has done nothing but talk. I have yet to hear him take a solid stance on anything or to answer a question directly regarding policy he would like to put forth.

Doesn't really matter I suppose because I am not voting for him and I can't really say I like McCain any better...in fact I am against the two party system altogether as it does nothing but make us pick the least worst of the offerings.

That's some awfully selective hearing, but here's a pretty good, non partisan website with a listing of his stances, quotes, writings, votes, and laws he's been involved in:

http://www.ontheissues.org/Barack_Obama.htm

the only things he doesn't have recorded or significant stances on are school vouchers and expanding the military.
