it is better to be a part of the actual vote for or against something (you know...actually taking a stand) as opposed to just noting you were there or in essence pleading the fifth.
We need a decision maker not someone who sits on the sidelines and plays armchair quarterback as to how the other guy is doing it wrong but when they have the chance they sit back and do nothing.
