him: this store actually has stock people bribed by collectors. There's a shop notorious for this in the area. They'll float the stock people $20 to hide items during the nightly shift.

him: this happens quite a bit and sucks for casual collectors.

Casual collectors like me.

This may seem sacrilegious to some, but I open and play with every singe one of my transformers. They're not for collecting or investing, they're for me, and frankly, they make me happy

It just ticks me a little bit cause, for once, I'd like to walk into a Target and, y'know, find a toy that I would buy.

On the other hand, a good transformers drought led me to start looking at Legos... so far I've only found one kit that I really liked in Target, but for $10, it was a gread buy:

I found a fully stocked section of Clearance TF Classics at Target yesterday. They had:
-Hot Rod
-Ramjet
-Mirage
-Cliffjumper
-Grimlock :run:

I also found some kids Decepticon socks in the $1.00 bin.

yeah, i was surprised myself. i've only seen classics jetfire one other time, and the box was crushed. i don't know if i'll open this guy or not. jet mode looks awesome, but robot mode looks kind of goofy. :|

I have a feeling the TF Classics hit 50% or 75% off. There are huge spikes in classics listings on eBay.

I'm going to check this out asap (11ish CST).

J.P. (Megatron) is on vacation, so hopefully he can take a look at this sooner than I can.

And it's been opened, too - good grief. Glad I grabbed all the TFCs when they were initialy released. What a nightmare it would be to track them down now.
