just in case anyone needs it.

remember, these aren't very deep, but the price is right and you can cover quite a bit of empty wall space.

I cracked open MP-03 yesterday. Nice level of detail, but all plastic. I already got stress marks on the shoulders from 1 transformation, and I followed all the instructions. It's the same size as the Macross Yamato 1/48s, but not as well built. Takara should have taken lessons from Yamato.

Damn, I'm still deciding if I should open one of mine.

From what I've been gathering, it's a $100 oversized alternator. :hs:

the material is just brutal for something so expensive.

The TF Classics are out everywhere now. Starscream and "Hot Rod" seem to be the hot ones.

There is a lot more detail than an alternator; it's practically a model. The only thing is that they basically used modeling plastic No diecast that I could remember.

I'm dying here ... can't find a prime or megs to crack open ... BUT

I did get another notice from Hasbro saying that my Hot Rod and Bumblebee shipped.

Grimlock, Mirage, and 20th Prime remain.

I saw Bumblebee, Starscream, and Rodimus this weekend at TRU.

They do look like the classics, but they're plastic
