Takara is looking for a cash cow. They have the mold. There is a market. They don't care about eBay, so it's a pretty simple decision for them.

The only reason people pay $80 for this thing is because of its potential value. There's no way it even costs $10 to make it.

By reissuing reissues, they're trashing the reputation of any product to be released.

I can't figure out which OP fetched that.

I'm guessing the Jafcon one.

 

yeah, a quick search on ebay shows a jafcon prime that went for $232.50 last week.

I'm totally bummed out by this. Makes my multiples almost worthless unless I hang on to them for another 20 years. Ebay, here I come. I'll have my wife post everything since she's not working anyway.

 

This is good news for me cus now i can get the megatron and prime i wanted, as well as soundwaves.

But look at it this way...if the TFC's go back into production. One would think that the ehobbys would go up more in price.
