Edge went to the Cardinals
Randel El went to the Redskins

rumored
Brees to the Saints (which completely screws up the NFL draft)
Brees to Miami (which puts Oakland into the Dante lead)

what the shi......

1. why would ANYONE willingly join the Saints? They're not even CLOSE to competing. Brees isn't that great. The guy has one of the premere RB's in the game backing him up ... and he had the BEST tight end available. The formula was there for success. The Saints have ... ummm. Joe Horn?

2. Now N.O. is shopping the #2 pick in the draft. The USC QB has franchise written all over him. He's supposed to be the 2nd coming of Jesus Montana. What's the asking price? 1st round pick + 2nd round pick + future pick?

3. Culpepper blew out his knee in 3 places. I'm not sure if anyone will be the same, but i'm glad he's out of the NFC north.

Vinatieri is an effing whore. :madr: At least he'll never get to win a Superbowl again playing for the Colts.

Griese agrees to five-year deal with Bears!!

what might this mean for Grossman. Looks like he's going to be competing for his starting job :hs:

:hs: it wasn't his fault the Pats got cheap.

If the Colts were ever an option to sign with ... you'd have to pick them over a team like Baltimore, Texas, Minnesota, etc. You're making lots of money and have a high likelyhood of playnig in the superbowl.

The Bears don't want to admit Grossman is done. The guy stepped into the QB position late last season and had a rating of 59 ... which isn't good at all. Grossman was leaps and bounds better than Orton, but that doesn't say much.

The Bears also don't want to admit they blew another high round pick.

Vinatieri went where the guaranteed money was and IMO the Colts overpaid. While he is the most clutch kicker in history and has done a lot for the Patriots in the past this was all about the future. His accuracy during the season has been a little above average and he is no longer able to kick off...unless you like the opposing team starting at their 30 or 35.

When it comes down to it the Patriots did what was right for them and Adam did what was right for him and his family. Sadly the two did not meet. I wish him luck but he is not going to help Indy win the big games.

I sold Curtis Enis a pair of jeans when I worked at the mall. [/pointless event]

they're NEVER in good shape at the QB position. I think they've had close to 25 different QB's in the past 7 seasons.

Their best in recent memory was Jim Miller ... but he couldn't take a hit. Before Miller, I can't remember a decent QB since McMahon.
