$25 for a set of clears = fair to me.

1. these are limited to 100, 20 of which are lost ... only 80 controled by S-O-C.
2. this isn't just a KO anymore, these are clear transformers. I know some of us are going though sticker shock over the past week or 2, but get over it and realize how great this actually is.







100 ... that's it. An e-Hobby black Tracks pulls down $1,000+ per auction, i've seen one sell for $1,600. This figure was limited to 300.

$25 is fair, I'm even willing to go $40 per set.


Realize nobody on the internet is getting these like we are. Nobody. People on TF boards are scrambling for the sets, we're just spoiled because of damn good connections.

The inital run of these will draw the highest interest, but we NEED to lock in a price now. This auction will end up at $300 ... and that's NOT EVEN SEALED.

$25 is chump change.

In reality, $25 won't even get you a set of metal KO tapes, yet alone clear.

 

The hype will die down over these things. Look at the KO Primes. A month ago they were flying off of eBay like crazy. Now the sellers can't give them away.

 

well, unless I hear back from anyone else here, I'll propose $20-$30, with flexibility.

 

but when we got in on the Prime hype, our versions were $49.99 + shipping ... even with the hype dying down, we got the best prices still.

It's all a matter of buying a product you like and what you deem is fair. I have absolutely no regrets.


According to S-O-C, red and black Prime are done. That $100 is well spent to me ... although Derry might be having a tough time moving them now, the value is only up from here. Even KO'ed, Ironhides which could have been purchased for $40 years ago are now pulling $250+.

 

I need to find time to search Chinatown for bootlegs.
