hammy, I hate to say it ... but if you look at that guys last 2 purchases ... a soundwave with box, and a soundwave sticker sheet ... it's more than likely. I bet he's getting materials to repo the extras and the soundwave mold is sitting there.

These past 2 weeks have been light. I got a KO Prime last week ... an RID Prime for $15 ... $100 last week, meh.

2 weeks ago, I got those Diaclone pieces for $35, Protectobots for $40, meh.

Today, the Prime ran me $135 shipped, now I found Cybertron Defense Scattorshot and Dark Crumplezone. I tried to find ANY reason not to get them ... but they're both flawless. I pulled them from the case myself. :hs:

I'm taking a beating here.

That's exactly it. Although logic says "you might not need it" ... one year from now, you'll be kicking yourself in the ass.

That's not cool. Wtf, did the welds rust though?

:goodjob: I like the bubble packaging. You get to see all of the toy.

Well it was a rush job because I had just done my swap and was rolling around with an open header. They were about to close, so they were just going to make something so the header and cat would seal, but then my old exhaust fell apart. So they just did a rush job that was basically one piece after the cat...no resonator, muffler welded on.

There were no spring-loaded bolts from the cat to header so the exhaust just broke after the cat because it was rusted out and had no slack without the spring-loaded bolts. I had to get a whole new cat-back today, and they could only do stock size (my custom was 2.25) because they apparently can't do any bending or welding. I just went with it because I needed it done, and the 2.25 was a little loud for my taste. At least I'm back to full sleeper status now

Ok, enough of the non-TF. Yeah, the buble packaging looks really cool, and it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I had whole case from BBTS, but some of the packaging was still dented on the bottom. I don't really care because I will most likely open them all. I have the BT versions of all them for my MISB pleasure.

I don't know what's up with this seller. 26 feedback tells me he isn't into collecting at all. He's buying toys for repo'ed stickers he's selling ... he's buying boxes and stickers for toys he doesn't.

I really wonder if:

a) he's starting to collect
b) he's gathering materials

He had the OP stickers waaay before the repo came out.

Those new Alternators are great to look at. They look great on display too ... it's fun seeing more than 50% of the toy.

These bootlegs capture the entire G1 feel. Since I never take my toys out of the box, the packaging is as important as the contents.

funny enough, i vividly remember putting prime back into the styrofoam when i wasn't playing with him, so as to keep him protected. i still can't remember what the hell happened to him.
