Thanks :hsugh:

I'm actually communicating back and forth with the seller right now. Unfortunately, because of Chinese New Year, he told me he won't be able to ship until 2/6 ... also, because of the holiday, he shipped that last Prime on 1/29.

I said it wasn't a big deal, I then asked if he could get any other KO out there. I showed him pictures of the cassettes, minibots, and Ironhide.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath. :hs:

You know when you're a hardcore TF Plasti-crack addict when you try to complete a KO collection.

I really really really really like the G1 looking bootlegs and knockoffs. If you think about it, reissues are nothing more than represses. "Chinese versions" are nothing more than represses. The only difference is that the "Chinese version" doesn't have permission.

Hypothetically, if Hasbro were to say, "you (the chinese factory) can make these toys" ... there wouldn't be a single difference on how these look. There might be a material change, but that's it.

When I say "Chinese version" ... that's what AFA called them after they graded some bootlegs and gave it the  to the consumer. :lmao:

Prime example of the advance stages of TF Plasti-crack addiction. He's in the "rationalization" stage. The point where any items added to a collection are most likely to cost over $100 and some sort of justification must be made in order to stop from saying "WTF HAVE I DONE!".

Typical symptoms of this stage is when an addict's monthly TF expenditure eclipses their car payment.

I'm in this stage myself, and proud of it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

M-fing ... GAAAAAAA!!!! The one time this morning I don't refresh the f-ing page...

:wtc:

I'm not sure anymore if I really want this thing, or if it's now just become a matter of principle that I get my hands on one. Has the thrill of the hunt eclipsed the actual desire to have the item? Once I get one, will I be satisfied?

Oh the irony...I was just making fun of Andrew and the KO's...karma bit me on the butt on this one.

perspective 1:
Although there are some issues between this and the real G1 ... the opportunity to own something this damn close is amazing. Unfortunately, the hunting sensation is at an all time high with this figure. Not only is there no constant source, you never know when these will stop. It could be tomorrow, it could be in 10 years.

perspective 2:
It's a copy and you have a bajillion Optimus Primes at home. This could be made of shitty plastic and the cardboard might warp easily.
