Lackluster for Nintendo. For the most part, what they brought out just doesn't compare to what they brought out for previous consoles or even the GBA.

Super Smash Bros Melee is one of the funnest fighting games ever, replay value is exceptional especially with 3 other roommates.

And I agree. My buddies and I got a LOT of gameplay out of unlocking everything and getting as many trophies as we could out of SSB:M. Metroid Prime and Wind Waker were also great. I'm just saying that, for Nintendo, a lot of their in-house Cube offerings weren't of the same amazing quality that at least I've come to expect from them. GBA, however, is acompletely different story - it's clear that a lot of their creative resources were directed towards the handheld. Advance Wars, Kuru Kuru Kururin, Golden Sun, Warioware, Fire Emblem, all incredible imo.

I gave away my SSB:M 'cause I got bored of it really fast. :dunno: I am aware that it's the best selling title on GCN, but I thought it was meh...
I can see how you would think Luigi's Mansion might be lackluster, although I really enjoyed it. But Super Mario Sunshine was excellent, in my book.
I do agree with the GBA games, though...that system has some great stuff. Golden Sun and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga were the most entertaining RPGs I've played since FFVII. Didn't really dig the Fire Emblem and Advance Wars, though.
