You're right about that one. The perception most people get with the NSX 290HP is that it's too close to the CLS 260HP, and yet it's 60k more. Hell, add some basic mods to the CLS and you have well over 300 hp (Not that HP is all that important though).

don't get me wrong, I'll probably buy an NSX when I can afford one, but upping HP to 350HP would not be bad to really set it apart from the other models. It sure wouldn't hurt??!

I Agree. HP sells the car, but really doesn't mean everything...Besides, I'm sure at 290 it's probably well balanced for everybody on the track (especially for newbies like myself).

But just as I said, I shouldn't be saying anything because I havent driven an NSX yet. If it were 350 hp, I'd probably take it over almost any car in its range.

Grow up. Next you are going to tell us that you can't decide if you want to date Ashley Judd, Britney Spears or Mila Jovovich. Oh, the tough decisions of a guy with no life. You have make believe and I have real life; who are you to talk?

And, just so you know, my 'slow' NSX puts down over 200 hp more than a GT2 and weighs less. I have a friend in Dallas (good track driver) who owns one and is still trying to beat my time at Motorsport ranch. I also ran him on a 50-150 punch on I10 and walked away from him (and the Venom 550 that was also there).

FastNSX, you made your point - I want your NSX.

...and for the price of a GT2, yes, the NSX can be modded up to kill it in every category. Please compare within the bracket.

Its actually quite amazing how so many people dog the NSX because of its price tag and the fact that its branded with the big H. the NSX is an amazing car, 12 years after it debut, the NSX has remained almost completely the same, and can still outperform most of todays sport cars. 270 hp, only 270 hp, well, thats quite a bit considering the car weighs approx. 3100 lbs. Then theres the price tag, every thread I go to that has a conversation about an NSX, the topic of value gets brought up. Of course the car would have bad value to someone who doesn't understand everything that goes into the car. Almost the entire car is hand built by Hondas finest technicians, the body is made completely of aluminum, hand sticthed leather, the list goes on. And the car is absolutely gorgeus. (I cannot spell today). alright, im done bablin, just sticking up for a car that deserves a lot of respect.

He's an NSX owner. And you're not; you're just a flamer who drives an Accord and came to the NSX forum to harass NSX owners.

Maybe we should take a poll and let everyone vote on which one is the loser.
