Yes - for two and a half times the money, you can get a German car that will outperform a Japanese one. And, you don't have to wait to buy one to kiss my ass every day.

Somehow, I don't think we have to worry that a guy who's never driven an NSX is going to go out and spend a couple hundred grand on a GT2.

About the NSX being superior because it's more reliable. I actually read an article on Reader's Digest I think it was about reliability of used cars. Toyota/Lexus was #1, Porsche was #2, and Honda/Acura was #3 i believe it was. If Porsche wasn't #2, i know it was somewhere in the top 3. So using the argument that the NSX is superior because it's more reliable isnt really valid... Don't get me wrong, I would much rather get an NSX. That car is capable of turning more heads on the road than any Porsche i know

I have owned three 911s, two 930s and 2 NSXs. I think I have a pretty good handle on which is which. The Hondas are better.

Wrong.

J.D. Powers does a long term reliability survey five years after each new car model is introduced. The NSX finished number one. That is number one out of ALL cars, not just sports cars. So, yes, it is more reliable than a 911.

You can drive home in a new NSX for about $80k. A GT2 will set you back $170-180. It damn well should be faster.

And, an NSX-R (same drive train as any other NSX) just laped the Ring in under 8 minutes. How many other cars can do that stock?
