The 1st and 2nd generation had 4-cylinders available...they were dreadfully slow. The controversial 3rd generation (1996-1999) was when the Vulcan became standard.

I saw it at the show...looked like ass. Noone was anywhere near it. I asked the Saturn rep if they were going to advertise the fact that it had a Honda engine and she had no idea what I was talking about or at least pretended not to. My guess is that dealerships will push the fact by asking if people are cross shopping the CR-V or Pilot, or the RAV4 or Highlander because of a Japanese engine.

that color reminds me of that lime doo-doo green that came on the '96 civic dx's! the one max boost got...yeah, I wonder if GM will advertise the HONDA V6. Should they, or shouldn't they?

That lime green color is replacing the rusted orange color (technically Saturn calls it "burnt orange") on current VUEs. I don't know which one is worse. :ugh:

For those asking if GM will advertise it being a Honda motor, ask yourself, does GM advertise the Prism or Matrix as a Corolla?

But apparently the burnt orange color left Saturn and went to Pontiac. I drove by tonight and they had the whole line parked strategically together. I'm sorry, that color only works on some cars.
