Wow, those body modifications are absolutely hideous :ugh:

Once again, Honda = timeless styling, even on underbody kits
GM = gaudy and ugly

Wait, so the 2004 Vue is going to have more horsepower than the Honda Pilot?

Yes, but I suspect that it will soon get the 3.5L i-VTEC of the 2004 Acura RL.

Also, the VUE competes more with the CR-V...it's a POS. Small, 5 seater, lots of cheap plastic inside, no resale value. It isn't a direct threat to the Pilot. If they price it like the Pilot (~$28,000) it'll be such a huge rip-off.

its weird though.... if it competes with the CR-V.... funny how the Vue gets the Honda V6 250hp... and the CR-V has its little 4... but id take the CRV over the vue anyday, power isnt everything... and the CR-V powerplant is nice anyway.

Too lazy to read the articles, but did Saturn release pricing and street dates for these cars (not that I would buy one haha). Just curious as to see how GM will respond to the Neon SRT-4 and SVT Focus.

Damn, I'm hoping this will help spur the next gen "tuner compacts" of Nissan, Mitsu, Mazda, and Honda. I wouldn't mind seeing a 200+ hp next-gen SE-R, Si, or Mazdaspeed 3...(hint hint to any Japanese car manufacturer out there). The upcoming Ralli-art Lancer is a HUGE disappointment in light of the SRT-4 and this.

I was thinking the MDX's current engine.

If i was Honda I'd give them the old 210hp version of the J35.. guess they dont make it anymore.

anyways, i bet honda is going to get some LS6's out of thise deal

it'll get eaten up by the neon's big displacement ~245 wheel torque...i wonder why chevy just didn't turbo its cav's 2.4 liter dohc engine...it's also a cheapo engine and can't cost much more than the 2.0 liter...gm has been literally giving away cars with its rebates and 0% financing it's not like it couldn't afford to give this away too

Maybe GM did this to save Saturn from going out?
