Saturn unviels Red Line performance trim and Honda powered Saturn VUE

Default Saturn unviels Red Line performance trim and Honda powered Saturn VUE

Saving you guys from posting the articles, I'll summarize it for you.

1) Saturn Performance-Tuned Vehicles will carry "Red Line" name
Logos:



2) 2004 Saturn ION quad coupe Red Line will carry a ~200hp/200lbft tq supercharged 2.0L Ecotec inline 4 (same block as the Saab 9-3) mated with a 5spd manual and 17" alloy and "racetrack inspired handling and unique styling." (although center mounted instruments and torsion beam rear suspension is :ugh: )

3) 2004 Saturn VUE V6 will switch from the UK made 180hp 3.0L V6 to a US made 250hp Honda 3.5L V6 and will now meet ULEV-II emissions standards.

4) 2004 Saturn VUE Red Line will be have a lower suspension, 18" wheels, lower body kit, and 250hp Honda V6.

Red Line is a dumb name for the performance versions...they couldn't think up anything less goofy sounding?

THAT is lower?

also, does the coupe have a graphic painted on the side, or is it just light reflection in every picture?

They probably had the car in a studio and just moved the camera around to different angles for each shot. So the lights and the car are constant. Doesn't look like a graphic to me...

the headlight looks like a bird laying sideways.. with the orange blinker for the tail....

jp i dont see it though. it looks to me like the coupe does have that graphic painted on though. overall i like the way those cars look, and its a pretty good move by GM.

saturns still suck though
