The X-car looks pretty tight, wonder if Mazda will sell the body kit and rims so all the future RX-8 owners can make their own X-car.

And the color is pretty nice too.

 

They said the 350 z is more powerful but isn't the rx-8 a lighter? I saw that blue car at the la auto show and i really like it. Maybe not the wheels but it impressed me.

 

the rx-8 is supposed to weigh around 2800lbs where a 350z is 3300lbs...500lbs makes a huge difference...the 350z has gobs more torque than the rotary

 

I think that most of the car mags who previewed the RX-8 agreed that the 0-60 times should be pretty close (around 5.7-6.0), with the 350Z having a slight advantage perhaps because of its torque advantage. Although the RX-8 does have a huge weight advantage, so I think it will ultimately translate out into a better-handling car.
