ive done little over 130 in my ls with fireball muffler and short ram, thats it, soon to find out that my tires were R rated or somethin, the ones where that rated speed is a little over 110. ive hit 130 about four times since i had the car, one time waz out running a chevy blazer whos house we egged, yea he never caught up, but found out who i waz considering he waz my schools janitor and his neighbor got my plate adn the janitor checked the parking lot. the only thing that keeps me from goin over 130 is drag, maybe when the car gets lowered it will be easier, thank god for no speed governor, never know who you gotta out run.

uhh i didnt do the egging so dont bash me, bash my friends, i regreted doin the whole bit, but on the bmw thing, that doesnt mean anything, 80k dollar bmw isnt as reliable as honda, honda and hyundai tied i think last year for best reliability and mercedes ranked like fifth place, i think that says alot even though the beemers get more gadgets and stuff.

i hit an indicated speed of 140 in my 93 gsr (didn't specify which gen gsr), but i can't go faster than 120 in my 94 ls... the gearing is just too long. pull in 4th and 5th gear seem the same.

My LS tops out at 120 I don't know why that is because everyone I've talked to with the same type of car get up to 135
