that b16a1 wouldn't give you to much of an improvment. Anyone got the stats on one of those?

Just to be an odd-ball...lemme make a suggestion.

Buy the lower priced DA teg (the 93), and do a B20Z swap. Along with minor headwork, intake and full exhaust, you get a dammed torquey four cylinder in a pretty light chassis. Mate it to a GSR tranny, and you're off.

I'm with Snoopy; you'll be really frustrated with the lack of torque in a 2700lb DA.

Torque on a B16A1 was around 110 lb/ft @ 5600 or so. A mildly built NA B20Z should put out at least 140lb/ft @ 4200, a big difference.
The slightly shorter GSR gearing would capitalize on the broader torque curve.

G2 integras weigh like 2400.
would the B20 be too much for the 2g integra? i know they are pretty heavy, how would it handle?

i've definetely decided on the 125k mile one, im prolly buying it in next few days. ill just get intake, exhaust, and lower it for now... a motor will be far away, coz the current motor is still runnen strong, no sense in throwing it away when my whole purpose of this car is to save money. (my 87 Monte Carlo gets 12 mpg.... =()

They really aren't heavier at all. Maybe two pounds.:dunno:

Go over to G2IC.com and talk to some of the guys with B20's in their cars. They tend to be a very satisfied group, much more so then the suckers that swap to a B16A.
