get what you like. It's your car. If we all liked the same thing it would be a dull world. I say go for it if you like it

Bah, do what makes you happy. Red badges and the ITR wing are just fine in my book. There is a huge difference between putting on an OEM-grade rear wing (that is also *functional*), and putting on a fake sticker.

Is the GS/GS-R or ITR rear wing actually functional though?

I've read a few articles that said the huge, unsightly ITR wing does provide down force at higher speeds.

Well, the ITR rear wing provides *minimal* stability at high speeds. I think I was trying to make a distinction between modifications related to personal preferences in appearance, versus a phony sticker aimed at gaining "street cred", if there's such a thing.

The bottom line is that modifying your car is a hobby, and you should enjoy it. Forget about the whole import "scene"; your money is best spent on what you like and enjoy. We poke fun at kids who sport APC "performance parts" and clear tails, but I'm sure there's a sizable portion of the human population out there that thinks we're nuts for dumping our money into a front-wheel-drive 4-cylinder car.
