Default Lame or OK?

I have a GS-R but I have red acura emblems and plan to get an OEM or replica ITR wing. I do NOT have a Type-R badge or sticker. I still have the stock GS-R "DOHC VTEC" badge. The only reason I got the red emblems is because my car is black and I love the red on black look, and I want the wing because I think it is still modest, yet still sportier looking than the OE GS-R wing.

I would hate to be considered a poser. I don't own a type-R, and I don't want to pretend I do. I like my sunroof and cruise control thankyou

Lame or OK? Opinions?

P.S: also in Type-R forum

You know what I say? Who cares...do what you want. Dont worry what everyone else thinks!

If you want opinions...ditch the red emblems. They are cheesy. The ITR wing can be pulled off I guess...it looks alright from some angles, and overdone from others. Just do what you want. Dont worry if people think you are trying to pose as something else...although you do have 2 of the staple items in terms of posing

The Integra owners here are very opinionated and most consider the only mods that should be done are engine/performance related - cosmetic mods should be 'tasteful' if done at all. That said, I think an ITR wing looks better than the GS/GS-R wing, but you should get rid of the emblems and don't put any Type-R stickers on it. Also, hopefullly your car is lowered because otherwise the look is somewhat gaudy.

Definitely not putting any stickers on. I didn't even put on my AEM license plate surround. And yes, the car is lowered. It's actually lowered a bit too much for my tastes right now, in the front atleast.

I'll post pictures soon so that you can see exactly how it looks (minus the Type-R or replica wing).

This is very similar to how I want my car to look eventually, I had always considered the WW type W kit. Subtle but sporty (kinda like the type-R wing ):

That body kit looks good except for that spoiler. I"m not a big fan of it. I have a green gsr with the same body kit as the one in that picture. And I have the ITR wing. I have gotten many compliments on it and I think it looks great. Go with that body kit and the ITR spoiler. I think it looks great.

yeah that wing has always erked me. doesn't even seem to match the kit.

I think I'm gonna redo the valvetrain and get a V-AFC before I get a body kit though. The car needs enough balls to have a show off body IMO

Bah, do what makes you happy. Red badges and the ITR wing are just fine in my book. There is a huge difference between putting on an OEM-grade rear wing (that is also *functional*), and putting on a fake sticker.

aaaaaamen shingoblade, you always seem to have a negociative role on any discussion, instead of a black and white.
