I think a 6-speed teg would rock, but alas a s2000 6 will not work with it being RWD... I cannot think of any 6-speeds that would work personally .

I wouldn't totally rule it out, money can make anything happen, just depends on how much you have. There are aftermarket tranny companies out there, now if they make honda trannies or not I don't know. Check with Richmond or Jerico, and expect to drop at least $4k. Maybe an NSX or RSX tranny might work with some fabricating?

well with enough money anything will work. heck just make it a RWD teg if you have enough money, that would be better. but I would personally want to make it a AWD like someone did a type R (or so I heard)

AFAIK, K-series trannies don't match up to B-series motors.

Here is how this would work though:
I'm assuming the difference is in the bell housing..
Cut the bell housing off of the 6 speed, and cut the bell housing off of a b series tranny, get the b-series bell welded on the 6 speed via heli-arc. This would work, but might not be too cost-effective.

:werd:so true...so true. (especially lately)

but to not get off topic, how bout you get a sequential 6 speed tranny. kinda on the pricey side though

Then you'd have to get special cams to make the B-series engine spin backwards. Don't forget you have to get the water & oil pumps to work. Reconfigure the timing belt so the tensioner isn't on the wrong side. Besides that, figuring out all the plumbing (intake, exhaust, everything else) because the engine's mounted on the other side of the car.

You might want to use the engine out of an RSX-S anyway...
