It kinda depends though. If you want a good short shifter, I wouldn't go for generic ebay ones, although I did get a ebay one and if felt heavy and strong and my hard shifts didn't break it. After skelly's broke though, (he had a different cheap one off of ebay), I figured it wasn't worth all the labor, so I'm gonna go with a SKUNK2. Some of the B&M's look so thick its like a cam.

uhh actually i got some ebay short shifter and it was NOT just a "cut down" version of the stock one. i held it next to the stock shifter and it had a longer lower end under the pivot ball than the stock one. also it did reduce my throw noticeably (probably about 40-50%)...plus mine didnt break and i had it for almost 2 years before i sold my car.
