Max Power for an integra
As long as you don't go crazy with the boost, you should be fine. A note of caution though, I believe that the Honda performance engines are designed more for high end horsepower than for low end torque. If you boost the torque too high without strengthening the bottom end...time for a new engine. Also, boost on an engine with a high compression ratio can cause annoying engine explosions unless you use racing gas. Besides, the Type R is fast enough.

I want to beat everything except supercars like the 911, viper, corvette, ferraris.. I want that with a cheap and relatively reliable car.

That's half right - in my case at least.
I bought my LS a very good price. I got it with 17'', with modified suspensions, a new transmission, a good sound system and several esthetic improvments, as well as an AEM intake manifold. My rims are awesome. All that for 9000$ with taxes.
My car really looks great and everytime I see it, I think to myself: this car really deserves a Type R engine.
The type R engine is really awsome- 205HP -, It's about 4000$, installation included. That includes the type R transmission. I will have a new engine that will last 200 000 km I hope with a supercharger.
I will drive it for some time just with the type R engine to get accostumed to the power.
If I feel I need more power, I will get a supercharger within a few months - 3000$.
For 16 000$, I think I'll be able to beat just about anythink there's around, with an almost new and relatively reliable car.
My car will also keep its value much more than a turbo.

I though about it, but I think that changing the engine is more cost effective in the long term.
It would probably shorten the life of my engine, which already has 90 000km. My engine would also loose a lot of value after I modify it like that.
On the contrary, a type R engine will keep its value more, and provide significantly more HP.
What's more, if I put a SC on an LS/VTEC, what will I do when the engine is finished? I have to bye another LS engine and remodify it to re-use my supercharger.
Modifying my current engine would cost about half the price of a new type R. I don't think it's worth it and I prefer to go Type R right away.
