I though about it, but I think that changing the engine is more cost effective in the long term.

It would probably shorten the life of my engine, which already has 90 000km. My engine would also loose a lot of value after I modify it like that.

On the contrary, a type R engine will keep its value more, and provide significantly more HP.

What's more, if I put a SC on an LS/VTEC, what will I do when the engine is finished? I have to bye another LS engine and remodify it to re-use my supercharger.

Modifying my current engine would cost about half the price of a new type R. I don't think it's worth it and I prefer to go Type R right away.
