That's half right - in my case at least.

I bought my LS a very good price. I got it with 17'', with modified suspensions, a new transmission, a good sound system and several esthetic improvments, as well as an AEM intake manifold. My rims are awesome. All that for 9000$ with taxes.

My car really looks great and everytime I see it, I think to myself: this car really deserves a Type R engine.

The type R engine is really awsome- 205HP -, It's about 4000$, installation included. That includes the type R transmission. I will have a new engine that will last 200 000 km I hope with a supercharger.

I will drive it for some time just with the type R engine to get accostumed to the power.

If I feel I need more power, I will get a supercharger within a few months - 3000$.

For 16 000$, I think I'll be able to beat just about anythink there's around, with an almost new and relatively reliable car.

My car will also keep its value much more than a turbo.
