Default JRSC - Jackson Racing Supercharger

Anyone know of a "cheaper" place to get the JRSC for a GS-R? I've seen some people say they got it for 2700 shipped.. anywhere else?

How bad does a supercharger effect a motor?

I have 215,000 KMS (94ls)

Typically, over 200,000 km would be considered quite high for mileage, but if your engine is in good condition (get a compression and leakdown test done), then you are safe to run a supercharger at standard boost (6 psi). Just don't run higher boost and definitely stay away from turbos!
Engines with below 100,000 km have nothing to worry about. Regardless, the LS engine is very strong and durable, which certainly helps.

I was told that Jackson racing super cgargers suck. That Vortech makes a better super charger, and more power. Is this true?

the difference:

JRSC: Eaton blower...makes almost linear power from idle until about 6000 RPMs.
Vortech: centrifugal blower...doesn't hit peak power until ~6000 RPMs.

One would opt for the Votech/ATI Procharger/etc only if they want turbo power but with supercharger efficiency (belt-driven, not exhaust driven).

On LS Integras...the JRSC is a waste of money. But GSRs can benefit nicely with a JRSC.

If you want dyno bragging rights get the Vortech.

If you want power where you are going to use it get the JRSC.

If your compression test and leakdown results turn out good without signs of your rings becoming bad, then I wouldn't worry about turbo charging or higher boost on a supercharger. The disadvantage would be that small things would probably start going wrong... have to replace hoses here and there, maybe some seals or a headgasket, usual maintenance things.
