Engines with below 100,000 km have nothing to worry about. Regardless, the LS engine is very strong and durable, which certainly helps.

JRSC: Eaton blower...makes almost linear power from idle until about 6000 RPMs.
Vortech: centrifugal blower...doesn't hit peak power until ~6000 RPMs.
One would opt for the Votech/ATI Procharger/etc only if they want turbo power but with supercharger efficiency (belt-driven, not exhaust driven).
On LS Integras...the JRSC is a waste of money. But GSRs can benefit nicely with a JRSC.

Typically, over 200,000 km would be considered quite high for mileage, but if your engine is in good condition (get a compression and leakdown test done), then you are safe to run a supercharger at standard boost (6 psi). Just don't run higher boost and definitely stay away from turbos!
