I have a 90 Teg GS Automatic, would a lighter flywheel help me at all?

My guess is no, a lightened flywheel will not help your auto, it's just a guess though. aka...you don't have a flywheel in an auto car.


Also, I have a fidanza with cm stg3 on a b18c1, should be a good setup as soon as I find time to finally drop the motor in my car.

Fidanza 9lb aluminum flywheel here. Put it side by side to a stock GSR and started to walk away in first gear. Definite buy!

Ummm i'm pretty sure automatics have flywheels.

It will be well worth it unless you drive uphill on a daily basis or live in San Fran.

Also, for all the guys considering aftermarket clutches, be sure you don't end up with a Stage5 500whp-capable clutch if you're on a relatively stock motor. Your front axle will thank you later.

autos don't have flywheels. they have flexplates and torque converters

will a type-r fly wheel fit in a 90 teg ...b18b/cable tranny set up?

yes, they have flexplates and t/c's but theres still a flywheel assembly.

one of my family's first cars was an old nissan sentra wagon. The starter gear and flywheel gears kind of stripped out, causing the car to be a pain to start..(mean old grinding wail) We got the flywheel replaced and that was that....
