I never ran my car at the track before the flywheel so I can't compare it to anything. I have an idea that it will help more once I get an exhaust on. The stock one has 1 3/4 inch piping not to mention the 90 degree bend in it, which I think is only characteristic of 2nd gens. I think an exhaust should give me a noticeable difference, and help the flywheel get movin quicker. Atleast I hope...
By the way dubster, what did you run at the track with just intake, exhaust and your flywheel?

Never went to the track with everything, but I ran 16.0 stock on 17's and a crappy 60' time of 2.5....it was my first time at the track.

DAM the difference is Night and day.
I got a B18B in my teg, Intake, and nothing else!!. off of idle, its bearly noticeable, but then 1500- 4800 the car just screams!!, Dam it was totally worth it!.

I didnt rip it too much cuz im still breaking in the clutch. I got 6 days of city traffic to go till I can really check it out!!.

I dont question you. (post whoring) hahaha

I want to get a new flywheel now...my clutch pedal has gone a lot lighter than usual lately so i'm thinking im due for a new clutch, so i might as well swap the flywheel as well, while the tranny is dropped.

any recommendations guys?

I love my Fidanza 7.5 lb flywheel, and they make the Clutchmasters flywheels so they are the same thing. Pretty decently priced.

The exedy is also a good flywheel....I haven't heard any complaints anyways.

I just must have misunderstood what you guys meant by a huge difference. I did notice better acceleration but not by a huge difference. I have an 8.8 lb ACT flywheel so it's not heavy. Oh well, I have no complaints...I've had no problems with the parts. I would recommend any ACT clutch as a good partner with a good flywheel.
