Regular or Synthetic Oil??
Actually, they reduce the 7500 mile recommendation to 3750 if you drive in 'extreme conditions' or something like that.
I guarantee you would fit in the 3750 category, not the 7500.
Either way, I change mine every 3000. Acura comes to pick my car up, changes the oil, washes it inside & out, and drops it back off to me. I'm not buying synthetic.

I have used Mobil 1 for 85,000 miles, 5000 m change intervals. Generally surprised by how good the oil looked. I drove a lot in Texas, and I enjoy working on the car, but I would rather drive it. BTW, It has 100K miles, runs like a top, and will continue to do so for another 100 before have to do the water pump, timing belt and seals again (if I keep it).

I just got a 98 gsr and I'm determining which oil I'm better to use. Synthetic or not and how much kilometers before I change it... The only thing I know about synthetic oils is how good it is for 2 strokes premix engine. I have a atc 250r and I always use synthetic oil. The smell is fu"$$ so cool (klotz super techniplate 20$ castor oil). Normal oil (like castrol 2 stroke petroleum based) mixed at 24:1 = 50:1 (synthetic oil like klotz...). And I'm sure than even at 50:1 it protects my engine more than petroleum at 24:1. So maybe synthetic oil in a car can do miracle on engine wear, gas mileage or power, ...? Still looking for the answer. The old owner was using quaker 5w30 non synthetic so I'll use it until I know a greater oil.
wat does it mean if ur teg is burning oil? it is leaking also...but i dont think it is leaking that much to where i notice that much of a difference on the dipstick :x cuz i just changed the oil about 700miles ago.........
