87 integra vs 2003 nissan SE-r
i raced my friend in his stock spec v with my 94 ls. i got him off the launch but his torque just whooped on me. he even got to second gear before me with his tires still screaching. my car was at full grip and i still couldn't get him. there is no way an 87 integ will win. the d16 isn't that great.
Well, let me just say this: I raced a bone stock 2002' (?) SE-R in my I/H/E GSR last year and I was barely able to pull on him half-way through 3rd. This was at SacTown Raceway of course. Also, by the term "pulling", I meant he was AHEAD of me and I was just starting to catch up before we ran out of track.
So...like I said before, just don't let him bother you too much. There are always faster cars out there driven by "tough guys" who think they're king of the road.

Ur teg is 117, so must be like 75 WHP.
plus ur racing a 16 YEar old car!!. Somthing breaks for you, thats it, somthing breaks for your friend, He's got warrenty for the next 5 years!!
I had a 1989 Teg, with B18b engine and tranny swap. with intake only my integ was Pritty quick!!> Gen 1 integra's are very light!
