Tints?
hey sup guys i got a question about tints. I'm not sure if i want to get them. i have a silver 2001 integra, and i was thinking about just doing 15% on the back 3 windows. i was wondering if any one has the same setup. i would like to see what it looks like, thanks. Holla Back
why tint just the three, do all of them, it wont look as good with just three windows tinted, do 15 on the three windows then like 30 on the passenger and driver windows, my car i have 15 on the back window then on the other four windows i have 5% and the tint visor over the windsheild.
didnt know there was a post about tint already. wat are the darkest % of black u can get on the back windows. im thinking of matching all 5 windows with the back, so that my car is black like the black black off a black back. but yeh, wat are the going rates also so that i dont get ripped and some shitty brand/place that will start to bubble up or peel?
it pretty much illegal to do the windshield and fronts here. my rear 3 is at 35% i think. IMO, too dark makes the car look tacky.
i really recommend you find a good place to do the tints, one that have a life time warenty. i (my gf) paid $190 for the rear 3. i can go in and replace them whenever i want. i had to replace one already because i accidently scratched it with a screwdriver. expect to pay $120-150 for a decent job.

I've got 35% all around (except the windshield of course) and have the legal paperwork in my glovebox--woo hoo no hassles. I have a silver teg, with black leather interior. It really makes the car look nice, and it is VERY functional! I couldnt imagine summertime without my tint! o.0
I think mine's 30-35%. The dealer sent it 'somewhere' to get done when I bought it. A lot of people complain about issues with tinting the 'dot matrix' area on the rear windshield. Honestly I haven't had a problem, it's still perfect. I guess if a good shop does it, you'll be ok.
I think that's a pretty ridiculous idea... Where you really need the tint is on the front windows and part of the windshield at times...
The only thing that what you stated will do is maybe protect the top of the rear seats from fading.
