ok, please don't speak in "computer" or "1337" and try to use punctuation. these simple things will get you very far on this board.

You answered your own question. The GSR ecu is perfect for LSVTEC.

Right, but now you have a 94 GSR ECU? I read your post just fine.

You asked about the Spoon ECU and I'm telling you it's a waste of money. You will produce more power with any of the options I listed below, and most of them are probably CHEAPER than buying a product that's overly hyped and rather ill-fitted for your particular application.

So INSTEAD of getting the "Spoon all-purpose-ECU-that-isn't-tuned-for-your-particular-application", have your ECU custom chipped (as I stated earlier above), or better yet, get yourself a V-AFC or hondata and save up for some dyno time. This way you can always "re-tune" your ECU for whatever new mods you put on.

Oh, and FYI, the Spoon ECU is $1500

http://www.modacar.com/products/Acura/Integra/MODAECT/

A hondata 3B (you can probably do fine with the cheaper 2B) is $469.

An Apexi V-AFC is $340.

Dyno time runs anywhere from $100->$200/hr. Depending on the application, 1.5->2hrs should be more than enough time.

Interesting, how do you plan to do that? Sounds pretty convenient to me.

You can also use an A/F gauge + G-tech to do some on-the-fly-ghetto tuning on an empty street. There are probably a few people around here who can give you "acceptable" settings for the V-AFC right off the bat.

Or you could pick up a cheap wideband.

So is the GSR ECU you bought Spoon chipped? If so I'd buy a cheap chip with modified vtec settings and revlimit and throw that trash away.

It's not for street use, runs pig rich, destroys your gas mileage, and disables the check engine light in almost all situations. The ECU was designed to keep going no matter what... if something goes seriously wrong with your motor, it could be trashed before the ECU lets you know you just destroyed your engine.
