Ah, I just know that he painted it awhile ago. So it is 'CW', or just white to me.
Well, I forgot to add something, the most important thing to the reply.. He upped to $5600.... Due to someone else (another new driver) will pay $5500. But he said this kid's bday isn't untill June. So That stinks.
$5600 for a '94 White Integra GSR [Manual & 103,000 mile]
Good for this new driver?

I know it's a very good price, but what would the average price of this car be? I Mean, an all around good '94 GSR?
And the seller did let me RIDE with him when I was there. I didn't get to drive of course.. but it seemed good. We got to 75mph before we noticed there was a cop on the other lane. It was near my house so I just got dropped off but yeah, it drove well still.

Don't get overly attatched to any car. The seller is just trying to string you along. Besides, since you won't have your license for over a month from now there's really no point negotiating on price or committing to buy anything yet. If you can get the car for the price you want that's great, but don't play the sucker.
Before you buy any car you should have it taken to a good shop that specializes in the make you're dealing with for a complete pre-purchase inspection. Also check out sites like kbb.com and edmunds.com to get an idea on how much the car you're looking at is actually worth.
The most I would pay for this guy's car is $4800. With that kind of age and mileage there's bound to be stuff wrong with it. Why do you think he's dealing primarily in kids who are about to turn 16? Because he knows he'll have a better chance of being able to name his price instead of having to negotiate.

When I bought my 94 GSR 3 yrs ago with around 105k, it was listed for $8500, I got it for $8250. It was extremely clean and well maintained. So under 6k is a steal if it has been maintained, best way to tell is to do a compression check, should be 190psi or better, if he kept the maint. records that would be a big plus.
I really want a integra... but perhaps a 90ish CRX would do good also?
The car is cheap and I think the insurance would be just a tad bit lowwer
But I really want a Teg, I've wanted one forrrrever..
