Nope, youll be fine...all you need is a fuel pump for that setup, along with the FMU in the kit obviously.

Remember, if you go Hondata, you can still run the stock fuel pump. And its not a shot in the dark with reliability....if its done right on a motor thats in good shape, you'll be alright. You hear so many horror stories because so many people are idiots....improper installation for the most part, where they slap it on and go boosting everywhere until boom, they blow the motor usually due to inefficient fuel.

Run rich baby, run rich.

The reliability of any turbo set-up depends on installation and tuning. Make sure you budget enough money to have that sucker tuned. Can be done in 1.5-2 hrs ~ $200/hr. (these are prices in the great land of Norcal however....)

With just a fuel pump and no FMU I would be a bit concerned. You're not doing anything to up the fuel when boost comes on really. An FMU is far from ideal but as long as you don't drive like an idiot you at least have a decent chance of not blowing up your motor.

For the extra reliability, drivability and power that higher flow-rate injectors and a properly tuned Hondata or V-AFC provide, it's definitely worth the price of upgrading. If you can't swing the cash quite quite yet then an FMU is a decent temporary solution but I wouldn't consider it the final setup.
