But after *****ing at the dealership and saying what was wrong since he knew they agreed to fix his transmission under warranty. they wanted to charge $1600
The MODS that he did has nothing to do with reverse going out, therefore they have no reason not to warranty the repair.

Actually, the service manager down there sucks. He's new & has been denying warranty service for a lot of people. I'm in pretty well with the guys down there though, so if any troubles arise, I can hopefully smooth it over.

Default Acura

The Acura dealership will probably try to tell you that the shift knob caused the problem and voids your warranty.

I just called acura today. The said that they also couldnt get the car to go into reverse so with out even pulling the tranny apart to see what the problem is they just ordered me a new transmition. They said it should be in Wed.. and Ill have the car back for Thur. or Fri.

- If all go's as planned Ill be very impressed with Acrua!

At this point I just want to get my car back together. Im pleased with the outcome of it so far. Before the Incident I was pushing 135.1 Whp and 125.0 Wtq. A possible next mod will be the AEM true power pulley kit. Then Ill probably settle down for a bit with the performance mods and put in a sweet sound system.

Who know ...

If you're going to do a sound system, wouldn't you not want pullies?

That sucks. If it is the tranny then you are still under warranty so you should be ok. Hope that is it otherwise you may have some expensive repairs.
